Individual Somatic Sound Informed Psychotherapy Session (60 minutes)
Psychotherapy provides a supportive and collaborative space to explore emotional challenges, develop greater self-awareness, and create meaningful and lasting change. My approach is trauma-informed and recognizes that healing often begins with creating a greater sense of safety and regulation within the nervous system. Depending on your unique needs and goals, sessions may focus on developing grounding skills, increasing body awareness, and strengthening your capacity to navigate difficult emotions before moving into deeper exploration and processing of underlying patterns and experiences. Treatment is tailored to each individual and may integrate approaches such as Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, EMDR, mindfulness, and other creative and body-based practices. When clinically appropriate, sessions may also incorporate therapeutic sound experiences and other nervous system-supportive modalities to deepen relaxation, enhance embodied awareness, and support the therapeutic process. Services are provided under Registered Psychotherapy and may be eligible for reimbursement through extended health insurance plans.
Extended Integrative Psychotherapy Session (90 min)
These longer sessions are designed for individuals seeking a more immersive, body-centred therapeutic experience. The additional time allows for a slower pace, greater nervous system regulation, and deeper processing of emotions, memories, and longstanding patterns. Using a trauma-informed, tiered approach to healing, sessions may begin with establishing safety, connection, and regulation within the body before moving into deeper therapeutic work.
Depending on your treatment goals, extended sessions may integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, EMDR, mindfulness, therapeutic sound experiences, and other body-based interventions to support emotional processing, self-understanding, and lasting change. This service may be particularly beneficial for individuals working through trauma, chronic stress, attachment wounds, or patterns of emotional overwhelm who wish to engage in a more spacious and integrative therapeutic process. Services are provided under Registered Psychotherapy and may be eligible for reimbursement through extended health insurance plans.
